Glass ice wine bottles generally use clear glass bottles and frosted glass bottles. Most wine is packaged in glass bottles. Glass bottles are favored by the alcohol packaging industry because of their stable structure, no pollution, and low price.

Glass Ice Wine Bottles Advantages
- The glass ice wine bottles are non-toxic, odorless, chemically stable, easy to seal, and airtight. They can be sterilized at high temperatures or stored at low temperatures.
- The transparent glass bottle is beautiful, can be used multiple times, and has the advantages of heat resistance, pressure resistance, and cleaning resistance.
- Most glass wine bottles use T-shaped stoppers or cork stoppers, which have good sealing effects.
- When a company wants its packaging to have a beautiful ice wine appearance while giving people a refreshing touch, glass bottles are the preferred packaging.
How to Store Ice Wine Glass Bottles
Ice wine glass bottles are stored in the same way as other wine glass bottles. However because the price of ice wine is relatively high, it needs to be stored properly and with extra care. No matter which method is used for storage, the following factors must be paid attention to when storing ice wine glass bottles, namely temperature, humidity, light, vibration, odor, and position.
1. Constant temperature
Temperature is the most important factor in ice wine storage, and the ideal wine cellar temperature is 12.8°C. Glass ice wine bottles can be stored at temperatures ranging from 10°C to 15°C.
2. Moisturizing
The influence of humidity mainly affects cork. If the humidity is too low, the cork will dry out and affect the sealing effect. Glass bottles with poor sealing will allow more air to come into contact with the wine, accelerate the oxidation of the wine, and cause the wine to deteriorate.
Even if the wine has not gone bad, a dry cork can easily break when the bottle is opened. If the humidity is too high, cork is prone to mold. The optimum storage humidity for ice wine glass bottle with stopper is between 50% and 80%.
3. Avoid Light
Ice wine glass bottles should be kept away from strong light, as ultraviolet rays will cause the wine to ripen prematurely. Although dark glass bottles can block some ultraviolet rays, they cannot completely prevent ultraviolet rays. Therefore, glass ice wine bottles should be placed in a dark place as much as possible.
4. Avoid Vibration
Vibration damage to ice wine is purely physical. When wine is bottled, its change is a slow fermentation process. The shock will disrupt the molecular structure of the wine, accelerate the maturation of the wine, and make the wine rough. Therefore, glass ice wine bottles should be placed away from vibrations and should not be moved frequently.
5. Odor-free Storage
Ice wine is like a sponge, absorbing surrounding flavors into the bottle. The cork of wine is actually a “breathing organ” of the wine, and the pungent flavor will penetrate into the wine through the cork. Therefore, ice wine glass bottles should not be stored with other food storage containers, to prevent odors from infiltrating into the wine.
6. Lay Flat
When an ice wine bottle lies flat, its cork will stay moist. In this way, air cannot enter the glass bottle and the quality of the wine will not change.
